Brown Hope's Action Team meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6:30–8:30pm on Zoom.

Brown Hope’s Action Team is a volunteer group building support for Brown Hope’s mission of racial healing through grassroots community building and people-powered activism. The Action Team is a very special part of Brown Hope– it was originally created at the same time of Brown Hope’s founding in 2018 to set up the organization’s success. The Action Team continues to be an important part of our organizing philosophy.

For the Action Team, we specifically call on racially privileged allies to leverage their power to help create just outcomes for Black, Brown, and Indigenous folks. However, we do welcome people of all racial backgrounds to participate in the Action Team. Volunteers are encouraged and supported to explore a broad spectrum of volunteer roles and opportunities, including leading complex projects and campaigns, to episodic shifts with programs and community events.
